Filistin halkı “sağlık” alanında destek bekliyor.

Arap Tıp Birliği’nin Filistin Şubesi Temsilcisi İbrahim Qudaih ile görüştük. Belki İbrahim Bey’in tıp doktoru olduğunu ya da tıp alanında eğitim gördüğünü düşünebilirsiniz ama baştan söyleyelim İbrahim Bey, yardım kuruluşu yöneticisi. Zor şartlar altında İsrail işgali altındaki Filistin topraklarında sağlık çalışanlarına hizmet götürmeye çalışıyor.  Mesafe uzak olsa da gönüller bir olunca mesafe kısalabiliyor.

ŞARTLAR NE KADAR ZOR OLSA DA BAŞARMAK ZORUNDAYIZ 

Kendiniz kısaca tanıtır mısınız? Zor koşullar altında eğitim almış olmalısınız. Eğitim hayatınız boyunca nasıl zorluklar yaşadınız? Bu konuda bize bilgi verir misiniz?

İsmim Ibrahim Qudaih. Arap Tıp Birliği’nin Filistin şubesi yöneticisiyim. Gazze Şeridi’ndeki sağlık çalışmalarını, devlet ve STK’lar aracılığıyla geliştirmeye çalışıyoruz. Gazze Şeridi’ndeki Filistin üniversitelerinde eğitim gördüm. Bu, büyük bir acı yaşayan, eğitim imkânlarına  ulaşmada güçlükler olan, eğitim masraflarını karşılamanın çok zor olduğu, işgal altındaki ve kuşatılmış bir bölgede eğitim görmeniz anlamına gelir. Üstelik üniversiteler savaşlarda bombardımana da uğrarlar.  Bunların tümü, eğitim hayatınızı etkileyen yoğun psikolojik baskıyı öğretir. Ancak, tüm bu koşullara rağmen, başarılı olmak, ülkemizin refahı için çalışmak ve tüm zorluklara meydan okumaktan başka seçeneğimiz yok.

İSRAİL SIK SIK ELEKTRİK KESEREK HASTALARA ZARAR VERİYOR 

Filistin’de sağlıkçı olmak zor olmalı. Bu koşullar altında insanları tedavi etmek zordur. Bize oradaki sağlık çalışanlarının durumu hakkında bilgi verebilir misiniz?

Filistin sağlık sektörü, İsrail tarafından uygulanan kuşatmadan dolayı sıkıntı çekiyor. Bu kuşatma, başta hastalara sağlık hizmetlerinin verilmesi olmak üzere, sağlık sektörünü her yönüyle etkiliyor. Hakkında konuşacağım birçok konu var. Elektriğin kesilmesi, Filistinli hastanelerde birçok hayati tıbbi cihazın durmasına yol açıyor. Bu da esasen, temel sağlık hizmetlerinin hastalara verilmesini, ameliyat hizmetlerinin kesintiye uğramasını ve hastalar için birçok önemli operasyonun geciktirilmesi gibi konularda sağlık sektörünü etkilemektedir.

    

İLAÇ İHTİYACI HAD SAFHADA

Peki, ilaç konusunda sıkıntılarınız  var mı? 

Ayrıca, hastalıkların ilerlemesi diyaliz cihazlarının ve diğer önemli cihazları kullanma yetersizliğinden kaynaklanmaktadır. Dahası, Sağlık Bakanlığı depolarında sıfır stok olan 184 çeşitten fazla ilaçtan bahsediyoruz ki  bu da ilaç ihtiyacında % 36’lık bir açık demek. Bu durum,  maksimum üç ay içinde gelecek bir felaketin habercisi. Bugüne kadar, imkânların yetersizliğinden dolayı Filistinli hastanelerde tedavi edilemeyen ve tedavi için yurt dışına çıkmaları engellenen 23 hasta öldü. Kısacası, Gazze Şeridi’ndeki sağlık koşulları çok, çok kötü durumda. Bu durum devam ederse yakın gelecekte gerçek bir felaketle karşı karşıya kalacağız.

    

EN BÜYÜK MUTLULUĞUMUZ BİR İNSANI HAYATA DÖNDÜREBİLMEK

Dinimizin insana verdiği önemi biliriz. İslam merhametin önemini hep vurgular. Sizlerin orada insanlara şifa dağıtırken en büyük dayanağınız ya da enerjiniz ne oluyor, hangi duygu size güç veriyor?

Tüm bu zor ve kötü durumlarda çalışma ve hastalar için mümkün olan her şeyi sağlama hevesi çok büyük bir dürtüdür. Gücümüzün gerçek kaynağı inancımızdır. Sağlık sektöründeki işimiz, hastalara ve insanlara hizmet vermektir. İnsanların hayatları ellerimizdedir. Bu sorumluluk, hastalara en iyi hizmeti vermek için gece gündüz demeden çalışmamızı gerektirir. Yaptığım zor işin en güzel yanı, yoksullara ve hastalara yardım etmek ve ölmek üzere olan bir hastayı hayata geri döndürmek.

      

“Teknolojiyi takip edebiliyor musunuz ?”desem acaba çok da yersiz bir soru sormuş olurum muyum? O şartlar altında alanınızdaki yenilikleri meslektaşlarımız nasıl takip edebiliyorlar?

Bilim çok hızlı gelişiyor. Kuşatma yüzünden sınırların kapanması ve özgürce seyahat etme sıkıntısı nedeniyle, sağlık alanındaki gelişmeleri izlemekte çok sıkıntı çekiyoruz. Ayrıca, modern cihazlar yüksek fiyatlarından dolayı satın alınamıyor. Ancak mümkün olduğunca yenilikleri takip etmeye çabalıyoruz.

TÜRKİYE’YE MİNNETTARIZ 

Türkiye’den, özellikle buradaki meslektaşlarımızdan beklentileriniz nelerdir?

Türkiye, hala Filistin halkını her alanda destekliyor. Sağlık alanında, meslektaşlarımızın, özellikle, eğitim programları organize ederek bizleri desteklemek için, sağlık sektöründeki Filistinlilerle işbirliği içinde olmalarını umuyoruz. Diğer beklentilerimiz, ilaçların ve tıbbi cihazların alımı için maddi destek sağlanması, çeşitli tıbbi uzmanlık alanlarında spesifik operasyonları yürütmek üzere tıbbi delegasyonların (uzman cerrahlar) gönderilmesi, ayrıca gerektiğinde, hastaların Türk hastanelerinde tedavisi için buradan çıkışının koordinasyon içinde sağlanmasıdır.

DÜNYAYA EVRENSEL ÇAĞRI: “YAŞAMA HAKKINA” DESTEK VERİN  

Son olarak dünya bir çağrı yapmanızı istesek neler söylersiniz?

Dünyaya, Filistin halkına karşı insani sorumluluklarını üstlenmeleri için sesleniyorum. Bir süredir işgal altında olan bu insanlar, dünyayı, yürürlüğe koydukları ve uluslararası insan hakları örgütlerini dahil ettikleri kanunları uygulamaya davet ediyorlar. Ben de onları, Filistinlilerin en temel haklarını elde etmeleri için, bu kanunları yürürlüğe koymaya çağırıyorum.

Mr Ibrahim, could you introduce yourself briefly? You must have taken your education under difficult circumstances. How did you experience difficulties during your education life? Could you tell about it?

My name is Ibrahim Qudaih , I am a manager of Arab Medical Union – Palestine which We are working to develop the healthy work in  Gaza Strip through the governmental sector and the NGO sector.

I have received an education in the Palestinian universities in the Gaza Strip. It means that you receive your education in an occupied and besieged area that has a great deal of suffering, the suffering of difficult access to education, the difficulty of covering the financial expenses of education,  Universities are also subjected to bombardment in wars , All this makes you learn in intense psychological pressure Which affects your educational life, But despite all these circumstances, we had no choice only to succeed, to work for the prosperity of our country and to challenge all difficulties.

 It has to be hard to be a health care profession in Palestine. It is difficult to treat people under these circumstances. Could you give us some information about the conditions of healthcare workers there?

The Palestinian health sector is suffering from the siege imposed on it by the Israeli occupation, which affects mainly the provision of health services to patients in all aspects. There are many aspects I will talk about each other. On the issue of cutting electricity  and its impact on the health sector, Has led to the discontinuation of many vital medical devices in Palestinian hospitals, which has mainly affected the provision of basic health services to patients, the interruption of surgical service and the delay of many important operations for patients. disease is also affected mainly by the inability to operate dialysis devices and other important devices..

Also, we are talking about more than 184 types of medicines with zero stock in the Ministry of Health stores, which causes a deficit of 36%, which foreshadows disaster within a maximum of three months.

To date, 23 patients have died because they have been prevented from going abroad for treatment because they can not be treated in Palestinian hospitals due to the lack of facilities.

In short, the health conditions in the Gaza Strip are very, very bad, and warn of a real catastrophe in the near future if the situation continues.

We know that human life is important in our religion. Islam always emphasises the importance of compassion. What is your greatest strength or the source of energy when you are healing people there? Which feeling energises you?

The fact that working in all these difficult and bad situations, and the keenness to provide everything possible for the patients is a very big challenge, and the fact that the real source of our strength to work in the field is healthy is our true belief in the message of health work to provide services to patients and People’s lives are in our hands. This requires us to work hard day and night in order to provide the best service to the patients.

The most wonderful feeling is when you see that your hard work has helped the poor and the sick and I can revive a patient whose death was his fate.

If I ask the question “Can you follow the technology?”, is it a ridiculous question? How do our colleagues follow the innovations in healthcare?

The reality of science is developing very rapidly, and because of the siege imposed on us, we suffer very much in keeping with the progress in the world health sciences, because of the closure of the crossings and the inability to travel and move freely, also modern devices can not buy because of the high price, but we try as much as possible We keep abreast of recent developments in the field of health through the Internet and through communication with colleagues doctors in the world, and through some educational programs (distance education) through the Internet and video.

What are your expectations from Turkey, especially from your colleagues here?

Turkey is still supporting the Palestinian people in all fields. On the health side, we hope that colleagues will form associations to support the Palestinian people in the health sector, especially through the establishment of education programs for the Palestinian people. And through the provision of financial support for the purchase of medicines and medical devices, also through the dispatch of medical delegations (specialized surgeons) to conduct the specific operations in various medical specialties, also through the coordination of the exit of patients to receive treatment in Turkish hospitals when needed.

I also call on colleagues to create a poor patient fund. The fund aims to pay the costs of treatment and medicine for the poor and the needy who can not access medicine and treatment due to their difficult economic situation due to successive wars and suffocating siege.

Finally, what would you say if we ask you to call on world?

I call  the world to shoulder its humanitarian responsibilities towards the Palestinian people. This people, who have been suffering from occupation for some time now, call upon the world to apply the laws that they have enacted and incorporated into the international human rights organizations. I call on them to apply them to the Palestinians to achieve their most basic rights.
